Setting our Finnjoist - You start from where the setting out point is located on the drawings that are provided.

Then you start adding the joist as stated on the drawings. Each Finnjoist and trimmer is markek and refrenced on the drawing so you know where each piece goes.

After we install the trimmer we added the shorter joist - which hang off the trimmer.

These Finjoist not only are structurally very strong but more environmentally friendly in that they use less wood than traditional floor joist. These joist also don't warp and help produce a squeak free floor.
